The symptoms of Osteoporosis occur late in the disease and can be detected at the advance stage of the disease.
Usually there are no early symptoms of the disease. The disease is only diagnosed at its advance stage. The symptoms of the disease are:

  • Cramps in the legs at night
  • Bone pain and tenderness
  • Neck pain, uneasiness in the neck other than from injury or shock
  • Constant pain in the spine or muscles of the lower back
  • Abdominal pain
  • Tooth loss
  • Rib pain
  • Broken bones
  • Spinal malformation becomes apparent like deformed posture, an outward curve at the top of the spine due to the development a vertebral disintegration on the back.
  • Fatigue

These symptoms are relevant when a person is suffering from osteoporosis. But they are notable only at the advance stage. So it is better to prevent the disease at the early age instead of treating it in the mid-twenties. You can also go through our next section dealing with the osteoporosis treatment. I hope it will help you in knowing about the treatments available for osteoporosis.
